EV Charger Warranties
something important to consider
Something we try to re-enforce when speaking to our prospective and current customers, is the importance of the warranty of your new home ev charger. We lay this out below, but warranties of the main brands are at minimum 3 years, parts & labour, and some offer a further 2 years of parts also. So if any warranty claim was submitted within the first 3 years of your home ev charger being installed, the manufacturers will arrange for their engineers to attend. Some brands, sometimes cheaper or appear a better offer than the main ones, will generally offer warranties – however, these tend to be ‘parts-only’ warranties for the full term. Please consider the extra cost of such a warranty, of an electrician attending your home in Newton Mearns at least twice per warranty claim, and having to wait to return the charger and receive the replacement – or receive parts to be fitted. Overall, of course it’s up to you – but we feel this is always an important point to make to our valued customers in Glasgow.
